For more than 50 years, we’ve been innovating the oilfield with our selection of quality parts, including the first-ever inertia friction welded valve and seat. Today, we manufacture a wide array of mud pump expendables like pistons, cage springs, seat pullers and drilling valves and seats. SPM Novatech valves are manufactured by combining a forged alloy steel upper body with precision casting, so you can enhance impact strength and minimize flow restrictions.
We’ve also patented the Cast-N-Place™ insert design that locks valves in place by molding the urethane insert around the valve body serrations. This design minimizes stress and assures quick sealing with the seat, and the full, open-seat technology maintains uniform contact area to reduce the occurrence of premature washouts to extend the life of drilling modules.
