SPM Oil & Gas’ Chief Financial Officer, Janelle Harre, has been honored as one of Oil and Gas Investor’s “25 Influential Women In Energy” for 2022. This prestigious award recognizes exceptional women leaders who have excelled in every sector of the oil and gas industry, including exploration and production, acquisitions and divestitures, oilfield services, midstream, finance, ESG and the energy transition. This blue-ribbon award program has honored more than 100 of the top executives and leaders in the industry since its inception.
Harre began her 22-year energy career at Caterpillar, where she advanced to the role of Global Aftermarket Services Division Controller. As the CFO for SPM Oil & Gas, a Caterpillar Company, she led the integration of SPM Oil & Gas’ finance and IT operations following the completion of SPM Oil & Gas’ acquisition by the Fortune 100 company in February 2021. She continues to direct SPM Oil & Gas’ finance and IT departments, providing strong financial leadership that empowers the company’s operational leaders to make solid business decisions.
Harre is a role model for young women interested in careers in STEM and energy. In addition to her professional success, she informally mentors women in the energy industry and has been engaged in leadership roles in her local PTO and Junior Achievement chapter.
The “25 Influential Women in Energy” honorees and their accomplishments will be celebrated at the fifth annual Women in Energy luncheon on April 29, 2022, at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Houston.
